DUBLIN, Ireland, Aug. 5, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Warner Chilcott plc (Nasdaq:WCRX) today announced that, in connection with a realignment of its sales organization, Marinus Johannes "Hans" van Zoonen will head the Company's North American sales organization effective immediately. Mr. van Zoonen joined the Company as President, Europe/International & Marketing following the Company's acquisition of The Procter & Gamble Company's ("P&G") branded pharmaceuticals business in October 2009. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. van Zoonen held various roles at P&G for over 20 years, most recently as Vice President, Pharmaceuticals Europe, Australia & Japan and International Health Affairs.
In connection with the realignment, Carl Reichel, President, Pharmaceuticals, will be leaving the Company to pursue other interests. Mr. Reichel joined the Company in September 2000 after nearly 20 years of experience at Parke-Davis, a division of Warner-Lambert (now Pfizer Inc.). It is expected that Mr. Reichel will remain with the Company until the end of the year to assist with transitional matters.
